How can I resurrect or retrieve a word document that I never saved in the first place? Computer shut down in the middle of working on the document perhaps due to low battery or other glitch. I followed the advice as prescribed here and did see the document when I "browsed" the "AutoRecover file location" window, but when I clicked on it nothing happened. And when I tried the prescribed method a second time and third time the document no longer appeared in the "browse" window. It was the last document being worked on so I also tried "recents" but it is not there either. Thank you to anyone who
