How can I remove my child from the family group I created?

How can I remove my child from the family group I created. I am the adult that granted consent for my child to join my family group, however I get an error message stating “You can't remove ‘Child’ from the family group Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for ‘Child’ can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted ‘Child’ consent to remove ‘Child’ from the family group."
