How can I keep my screen from flickering on and off at streaming service startup

I have a Window gaming PC with a Ryzen 7 chip. It has HDMI 2.1 output. When i first start a streaming service and am in the selection process, the screen will flicker black several times. Once I start a selection the problem goes away.
