HOW CAN I FACTORY RESET MY LAPTOP WITHOUT THE REQUIRED STORAGE??

I just got a new computer and want to reset my old one for other use. When I tried to factory reset it though, it says that I don't have the required storage and need 2gb more. I'm also like 100 percent sure that I have a virus because when I look at my installed apps it says I have 30 gb of installed apps though everything in it doesn't even add up to a 1 gb. I only have 57 gb of storage.
