How can I change my recovery email?

My personal computer has been locked with BitRecovery. I attempted to follow the prompts to find my recovery code, therefore I logged into my Microsoft using my phone number, I confirmed the phone number with a texted code. Then it asked for another method of verification, using an email I don’t recognize. I need to either change my password or change the email to log in.
