How can I bypass the admin account or get rid of it without the password

Hi, me and my dad have built a pc around a year ago and the second day it was running, he forgot his password (the only admin account). He used an AT&T email with his Microsoft account, and AT&T has blocked his access to his email as they got rid of the email department. Because of this he can not reset the password because the admin password is the same as his Microsoft password. We want to download games and other things but we need the admin password. Is there anyway we can do this?Thanks, B
