Holding down any keyboard key just repeats the key action ~60 times/second instead of actually holding it down

So I was just typing a few days ago and my keyboard suddenly started glitching out. Wasn't really sure what was going on until I went to https://codepen.io/Braxtoony/full/bGezwKr (spacebar counter) and noticed it went up by around 60 times a second when I hold down my space key. This only happens for keyboard and not mouse click, and from most similar problems the solution hasn't worked and I don't think it's a problem with this keyboard because I couldn't find anything on it (I believe its the 'Skytech k1000'). I'm just looking for a fix because it really inconveniences all kind of game
