hid-compliant pen driver for Desktop

Recently, a friend of mine purchased a Gaomon PD2200 to make drawing a little easier for them. They were having issues getting the pen to work properly especially with the correct drivers/software from Gaomon. I was helping them because they were struggling to get the tablet to work properly. After about 3 hours of reinstalling the correct drivers over and over again, I had a hunch that there was a driver missing from their computer. I tested the Gaomon tablet with 2 other computers; a laptop with Windows 10 and a desktop using Windows 8.1. The tablet worked flawlessly with both of those machines. I went into the device manager to see if I could find any possible issues. When the device manager was open and running with either of the two other computers, there was a driver named "hid-compliant pen" that allowed the pen to interface with the Gaomon PD2200 tablet flawlessly. I noticed that the Lenovo computer my friend has doesn't have this driver and I can't install it from anywhere. Would it be best to factory reset the machine? The computer they use most of the time is a Lenovo machine that was purchased about 3 months ago. I went through Lenovo and downloaded all the correct drivers that might have been missing but to no avail.
