HID-compliant game controller still preventing monitor from sleeping in 2023

Hoping someone can help with this. It is a very simple issue: The HID-compliant game controller in Device Manager prevents my monitor from sleeping. This is an issue A TON of people have had if you merely search on this forum. And yet, there doesn't appear to be any interest in fixing the issue.I have an 8BitDo - Ultimate 2.4g gamepad that I keep plugged in to my PC for gaming. However, with it plugged in, my monitor will not sleep. I had the SAME problem with a Logitech gampad before that.When I disable HID-compliant game controller, my monitor goes to sleep after the power scheme idle time (
