help with signing in to ms account

hello. i try to switch my local account to my microsoft account (this one) but the only thing that appears is a empty box that closes after a second. this also happens on microsoft store and xbox app when i try to log in from there. please help me also, i cna add a work/school account like normal but i dont want that
