Help with process 'ntoskrnl.exe' *High CPU usage - intermittant*

Hi, hoping someone can assist.Sometimes (roughly it's 50/50 I'd say) the above task/program is running and using around 7% of my CPU non-stop. But what's worse, is that it makes my CPU run at its full 5.1Ghz continuously, which isn't ideal obviously.It shows under Task Manager as 'System' but then when you go to file location, it is the ntoskrnl.exe.It seems very intermittent. Sometimes it won't be an issue for days, but then it will. Usually turning the PC off/on sorts it. Sometimes not.
