HELP!! office xp service pack 3 update installed 70 times!!!

I installed windows Vista in June, since then i keep getting updates for
office xp service pack 3.....

i have downloaded and installed this update over 70 times in the past
6weeks!!!

should this be happening?? if not what do i do to fix it??

I know the (hope) first 'question' is facetious. What would be the point of
installing the same thing over and over?

My suggestion is to manually uninstall Office XP SP3 from your Control
Panel --> Add or Remove Programs area and then manually download and install
it. Have your original Office XP installation media handy.
