Help, my pc runs slow after it crashed

Help, I was playing a game when all of a sudden I get a weird crash screen. To my understanding it is a "freeze screen", and now all my games run super slow. Like my computer has just made it self worse. I'm on windows 11 and this happened once before so I factory restarted my pc, and that fixed it. But now that it has happened again I don't want to have to do that every copale of months.
