help me with my display

so i use an integrated gpu on my computer and every time i want to turn it on it turns on But only when i have hdmi connected and then i can use my displayport cable and i want to use my displayport cable instead of hdmi but i dont want to always want to connect and disconnect my hdmi cable to my monitor because i use another device that uses hdmi so a little help?
