Hello. I cannot pin files to the start menu. I can do files and apps, but not files.

I have tried to pin two Excel files to the start menu and I am not offered the option of pinning them to the start menu. I have tried doing it with shortcuts and almost any other idea that I have read online. My Windows 11 is up to date. Could you tell me what I am doing wrong? Than you
