Headsets and mics not being detected

I have tried so many different "troubleshooting" steps and nothing works. I've tried two different headsets, from two different manufacturers, neither one's mic is picked up. One is Turtle Beach, one is SteelSeries.Before the "normal" questions start coming in, here's the answers to likely responses:Yes, these headsets work on other computers, laptops, and gaming systems.
