Headset muffled when playing call of duty

I use the xbox wireless headset for gaming on my laptop. But when i play call of duty, the headset become to muffle. It looks like the sound come from someone who calls me. Also the music on the background becomes like a phonecall audio.When i close call of duty the sound is normal again. I thougt maybe it is because of a game the runs the audio, but when i play minecaft the sound is normal, even with music on the background. Ive tried to update the driver, but the driver is uptodate.
