Headset Microphone not found

I have bought an Asto A10 headset and have plugged it in. The sound quality is great and enjoying the headset - however, when playing with friends using a different microphone, they say they can hear my keyboard and I think using the mic on the headset would make this quieter, but my PC cannot find the microphone on the headset (or I cannot find where to enable the microphone). I have other microphones plugged into the PC but when I go into Settings-System-Sound and then click choose input device, the headset microphone does not show up.
