I have a recently new Lenovo Ideacentre 720 desktop computer with an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 CPU and a Radeon RX550 GPU. I have a Philips 288e2 screen which is supposed to have HDR color capability. I am using the Philips supplied HDMI cable which says it is "High Speed".
I have updated Windows and GPU drivers.
I have checked the BIOS, there are no display/video setttings that seem relevant to HDR there.
I have also set the GPU Pixel format to YCbCr 4:2:2 and the color depth to 10 bpc.
I have tried with FreeSync & Virtual Super Resolution on and off.
I am running at the screens native 4K resolution.
DXDiag keeps saying that HDR is not supported on either Display or Graphics card.
How come? I have everything I need to support HDR. Why is it not available in the Windows Settings / Display dialog?
