Hdmi issue on c850 1g2 laptop

Hey everyone! My dad has a toshiba satellite c850 1g2 laptop. And it has an issue. After an upgrade to ssd ( new os installed). the laptop won't output to hdmi. The screen is broken and vga is broken. Before the upgrade the hdmi was working fine. This laptop is very important to him so I really want to fix it. I tried fn-f4, installing a different OS, and even tried to take the ssd to a different laptop.I noticed 2 things. When the old disk was in the c850 1g2 laptop, the hdmi was working.
