Having problems with WMC after going back to Win 7 from Win 10

I tried Win 10 but went back to Win 7. Now it will not update the TV guide nor can I record through the channel/time option. WMC will allow me to set the channel and time but it won't save it. Is there a fix to this or do I have to reinstall Win 7 from the disk?
