Has the issue related to windows failing to boot a few weeks after the system is migrated been root caused/fixed?

Planning to move system to a new, larger drive again as I filled my disk up with junk again. As I encountered this painful situation for a past migration - Redirecting - and I'm pretty rusty with the windows recovery tools now, I'd hope to avoid going through this painful situation again.
