GTA V crashing on " entering story mode screen"

So GTA V ran smoothly on my laptop but one afternoon after I closed the game then re-opend it the same evening it crashed on the loading screen and screen menu ,since then I have tried multiple tutorials re-installed GTA V and updated drivers and windows but nothing has worked ( my GTA V is from steam it's 3144 release)
