GPU usage issues

For the past couple of days I have been running into issues where all apps which use the dedicated GPU start using 100% of it (3050 RTX Laptop GPU). Depending on how resource intensive the app is it takes different amunt of time for problem to occure. while trying to fix the issue I already updated all the drivers including the GPU drivers, my Windows version is up to date and i also tried to use older version of GPU drivers with no success. Changing the settings in the Nvidia control panel also didn't change anything.
