GPU crashes when starting any Game, like fortnite

Hey, my nvidia 2080 just started making games crash and lag just after starting it, never had problems before. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, changed location in pc for the gpu, and also changed position for the gpu charging cable. The night before it started doing this i heard some electrical noises coming from the pc when i turned it off. Any tips?
