Got logged out of file explorer and not allowed to log back in

I had to briefly use a different microsoft account on computer a while ago. I did what I needed to do (Access excel files) and logged out. A while later, I was logged out on file explorer, when clicking ‘Please sign in’ in the upper right corner, I am prompted to enter the password for the older and currently unused microsoft account. Attempting to go back and log into the proper account I am asked for a security code which when entered simply takes me back to the page prior.Because of this I am logged out on onedrive, and this makes accessing my files incredibly difficult, and I am not sure w
