Got an ssd enclosure with usb C to 3.2 and usb C to usb C cables, 3.2 is super slow

Hello, my usb 3.2 cables are extremely slow, like usb 2 speeds, even though I have a usb 3.2 port, I only get 40 Mb/s reads and writes, but with the USB C I get 900Mb/s reads and writes, why is this?
