Getting Virus Scan Failed on every download Windows 11

HiI know this problem has been asked before and have tried the suggested fixes, where possible. Anyway I'll give a description of my problem.Got a brand new W11 laptop a few days ago and in the process of setting it up needed to download from Google Drive some files. Almost all of the downlaods failed, with the error 'Virus Scan Failed'.
