NOTE: Do not want to change the language of my keyboard. Just get a single character into a document.Have read that Alt 0241 will put this character into a document. However, when i do that, exactly "nothing" happens. It is as if i did not type any key at all.I would like a solution that works not specific to an app, but across different windows apps.Is there a way to do this (insert one character without changing language of keyboard)? Why doesn't the "Alt" solution work, i see it stated many places on the web? Do i have to do something to enable those "Alt" keystrokes?Thank you.
