Games are changing what my buttons are bound to.

I have a laptop on windows 11 and sometimes when I am playing games my character starts moving forward on its own and all my keybinds are changed. Furthermore, when I exit the game the changed keybinds persist. I will completely close the game and type anything anywhere and all of my keyboard inputs are changed. I will press the a button and it will type a q. I thought it was just one game, but recently it happend while playing other games as well. After restarting the computer, the keybinds are back to normal, but is there any way I can stop this from happening in game?
