Game freezes and lags until I tab out

I'm new to the whole Windows 11 scene and, quite frankly, I'm livid. My games ran absolutely fine on Windows 10. But a recent hardware issue forced me to upgrade to a new laptop, which came with 11.Ever since I got it, my games would stutter, lag, or straight up FREEZE. However, this would stop and the game would run smoothly when I'd bring up the windows menu with the windows key. I'd see the game run absolutely perfect when tabbed out. But when I'd tab back in, the issues continue. I've kept a look at the task manager. NOTHING IS BEING STRESSED. I've done virus scans, checked EVERY SINGLE DR
