Hey guys,
I am the Exchange admin for an Exchange 2010 environment(it is going away soon). All my on-premises clients show our GAL by default when on the domain, and they also see the GAL by default when at home using Outlook anywhere. I confirm it is the GAL they are seeing and not an OAB. All the mac clients show the GAL fine using Outlook anywhere from home. OWA works fine from home showing my GAL as well. On my home computer, I have installed Outlook and it works fine, but never shows my GAL. I know there is a lot out there about offline address books, but I am trying to avoid that(my linux clients at home do work fine using Evolution with an OAB url they autodetect) Why can all these other computers see a GAL, but my home computer not see the GAL using Outlook anywhere? Am I missing a setting in Outlook? If I should move this post to an Exchange forum, let me know.
