fresh windows 10 reinstall on new ssd , cannot start without old ssd, media creation tool AND new SSD

I reinstalled windows 10 using Media Creation Tool usb on a new SSD .After booting with ALL three devices connected I get the installation screen again seekiing country, language etc and eventuallt I get asked which boot device (ssd) I want to use and windows will load ok.. This is with ALL THREE devices connected These are scenarios Im encountering Either one of SSD and without USB tool "no boot device "WIth USB tool and one SSD Blue screen with message about a device missing any help appreciated as ive spent so much time already
