Hi folks,
I recently starting receiving a HDD error when booting suggesting my hard drive was due to fail.
Trying to be proactive I purchased and installed a new HDD with more storage than original. Initially my goal was to clone the source drive to the new HDD using Macrium to prevent having to re-install anything. That said, I was not able to clone as errors would prevent the clone from completing. I am assuming that is related to the issues with the original source drive.
Where do I go from here if I am looking to install the contents of the source drive to the new drive?
Can I create a boot disk and install Windows 10 on new drive? And then copy entire contents of old drive to new drive?
-sleepless outside seattle
