Built a new PC with the following components:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16
Storage: Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1 GB
Case: DIYPC F2 MicroATX Mini Tower
Power Supply: Thermaltake Smart 500 W 80+ Certified ATX
Wireless Network Adapter: Asus PCE-AC55BT B1 PCIe x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
It was having the occasional "kernel security check failure" blue screen errors and I couldn't figure it out, so I reset Windows hoping that would address it. It's much worse this time around, with even more frequent and a new variety of blue screen errors: "reference by pointer", "dpc watchdog violation", "apc index mismatch", "system thread exception not handled"...
I can't figure out how to read minidump files, but I feel like there must be something wrong with one of the components in particular. One of the errors was triggered right when I went to save a file, so maybe the M.2 SSD? But sometimes it seemed to happen when lots of processes were running, so maybe RAM? And the GPU is old and purchased used, so maybe that? I really don't know.
