I used two different methods to export OST file into PST file format but both methods fail to export my emails from an OST file into Outlook 2016 PST file format.
Method 1. Use ‘Archiving’ to Export OST emails to PST
Method 2. Save OST Mailboxes as PST File
Both two free methods fail to save my OST emails to PST format. How can I do it????????

Method 1. Use ‘Archiving’ to Export OST emails to PST
- Open MS Outlook and then open the OST file from which the data needs to be exported
- Click on File tab, click on Info, and then click on CleanUp Tools
- Next, select Archive from the options
- In the Archive dialog box that appears, ensure that Archive this folder and all subfolders option is selected (it is selected by default)
- Next, select the folder that you need to export to PST (e.g.: Inbox)
- In the Archive items older <g class="gr_ gr_195 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="195" id="195">than:</g> box, provide an appropriate date. All the items that were received earlier till the specified date will be archived
- Under Archive file: option, provide the destination path to store the new PST
- Click on OK to accomplish the export process
Method 2. Save OST Mailboxes as PST File
- Go to Files >Open & Export and click Import & Export.
- Select Export to a file; then click Next.
- Select the second option—Outlook Data File (.pst)—and click Next.
- Select the folder which you want to export and click Next.
- Browse the location where you want to save the new PST file and choose the options regarding the duplicate items.
Both two free methods fail to save my OST emails to PST format. How can I do it????????
