Forced Win 11 Upgrade

This is more of a product issue. I just finished watching a Netflix documentary regarding the excessive waste generated by humanity and culture of Buy, Buy, Buy. Electronics was at the top of the list and the number of iPhones, Pad, PCs, TVs and more generate a huge amount of waste, a lot of it extremely toxic and damaging to the environment. Now Win 11 comes along and if I want to upgrade, I will be forced to toss a perfectly good PC as it does not meet the requirements for Win11.
