Following redistributable uninstall, Chrome not launching

In an effort to repair all C++ redistributables, I uninstalled them all. When trying to reinstall up to date versions, I get the error "no action was taken as a system reboot is required". Rebooting does nothing to make this successfully install. This is error code 0x8007015e. Now, I can't open Chrome, with the error "side by side configuration is incorrect... Use command line sxstrace.exe" Help! I am doing all of this to troubleshoot games, but need chrome to work even more urgently for work
