Fn lock key goes off after the PC goes to sleep

I am running a Windows 10 PC with a Microsoft Natural MultiMedia Keyboard 1.0A which has a Fn lock with a light like a Caps and Num lock keys. When the computer goes to sleep the Fn lock key goes off and I need it to stay on.I assume that there is a RegEdit setting or INI file that needs to be changed but these keyboards seem to be rare so I can't find any reference to make it work. Please advise.
