I have one of these cards installed in my Dell 5440 laptop, this allows 5G cellular connectivity etc. WiFi may not be available so having 5G allows my laptop to work to locate things near me.The UEFI noticed the card but I had to manually download software for the card from Dell which detected it fine. Driver is from Windows 10 era suggesting my card is older than my laptop which has 13th gen CPU in it.The GPS sentences are not dependent on cellular as long as the antenna can pick up a satellite or 5. I have a SIM card in the machine so I can have internet anywhere.
