Flight Simulator X Invalid Product Key

I bought FSX when it first came out. I miss it, so, I re-installed it on my new computer. After the install, it never prompted me to activate. I went online, changed the reg, and now I have the product key page!But… After I input my key (I have the original, in great shape, all characters are clear), I get this error: The product key is invalid. I have tried it several times. I have not installed it on any computers in the past that were not owned by me. I called Microsoft and it directed me to here. How do I fix this so my code is valid again?
