Flickering external monitor on particular programs

This isn't a question but for everybody else's information I thought this might be useful. I've been having an issue where when opening certain applications on windows would cause my external monitor to flicker (I am on a gaming laptop), after some some playing around I found the problem to be with hardware acceleration enabled programs so if your running into a similar issue disable hardware acceleration on the specific program. But say this isn't possible as for something like Microsoft 365 where there isn't any setting for disabling it you can try going into bios and disabling hybrid graphi
