Flex surface pro 9 keyboard stopped working, fixed it the first time but it happened again and stopped working completely after that. what can I do?

The keyboard on my surface pro 9 has stopped working about a month to a month and half. Its still not working. The first it happened I had disconnected and restarted and it took a while but it started working again. I think same day I was using my laptop to study (use it mainly for school) and the next day I realized it stopped working again when I was in class. I had done the same steps, they didn't work so I restarted it, went to device manager, disconnected the key board, cleaned the connecting hardware, disconnected everything overnight, and nothing has worked.
