Firewire keeps going out on me using Windows 11

I've got a brand new i9 Dell running Windows 11 and two different 1394 (firewire) cards - one that is branded LaCie, and the other Texas Instruments.The TI one (twice the price) simply does not work due to an 'insufficiant power' error. The LaCie has worked for me for years on Win8 and Win10. Now on Win11 it is constantly dropping out on me. I only use a Focusrite Saffire 40 Pro sound card on the fireware card.It suddenly drops all audio (be it Youtube, VLC player or Cakewalk DAW) and says 'in use' instead of 'connected'.If I change the ASIO buffer size in the software for my Focusrite sound
