Fingerprint Sensor Malfunction After Recent Windows Update

After the latest windows update the fingerprint sensor isn't usable anymore, when I went in settings to see if there were any problems it said that it was impossibile to find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello. Also when I went to the Device Manager I couldn't find any Biometrics Devices.How can I fix it? My PC is a IdeaPad Slim 3 from Lenovo.
