Fingerprint scanner no longer working on my laptop.

So I have a pre-owned lenovo ideapad slim 5 and my fingerprint scanner has worked since I've gotten it but I tried to log in with it today and it acted like there was no fingerprint scanner. So i log in and check the device manager and it says under biometric devices- Goodix fingerprint with a yellow "!" in the app picture. When I click on it it tells me, "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.
