After updating to Windows 11 24H2, my fingerprint reader, which has worked fine for years, no longer works correctly. When I reboot the machine, W11 says that the reader is not Windows Hello compatible (It is). Device manager shows it working correctly. The only solution I have found is to manually disable and re-enable in device manager after every reboot. I have checked with the OEM, and I have the latest drivers, which are also pushed by MS.
