find my computer location is wrong

My husband and I both work from home. My lap top shows my location as correct (Georgia). My husbands says his computer is located in Minnesota. We use the same internet our computer are about the same age (windows 11 both about 2 years old). We have done everything we can to trouble shot (restart, set default address, VPN on and off, location services on, etc). still we can not get his "find my device" address to be in GA. Is this a security issue? has his laptop been hacked?
