Files Repopulated after Moving

Hello!I recently created a file tree to store our client information in applicable client folders. I created a subfolder to move our archived client folders into, and after using the copy/paste feature all of the correct files were moved into the archive folder. A few hours later, the archived client folders suddenly reappeared in the main folder tree. When I went into these folders that repopulated in the main folder tree, a majority of the data had been deleted. The folders we copied to the archived folder are still there, and luckily those contain all of the documentation. But as far as the
