File explorer crashing when refreshing - hang code 134217728

Recently, file explorer has started crashing whenever I do some actions from the context menu (e.g. refresh) and the desktop icons do not show on startup for around 3 minutes. I have done many checks including chkdsk, DISM and SFC, but the problem persists. I believe File Explorer is getting stuck in some sort of loop when doing some actions, but I am not really sure. Here are some screenshots of the problem:Any help will be appreciated.
